Medicine Hat Family Service Celebrates over 50 years of service to families in our community!

On December 19, 1966 Medicine Hat Family Service was incorporated under the Alberta Society Act. The agency actually started in 1957 as Medicine Hat Catholic Family Service.

Our COVID-19 Response

Medicine Hat Family Service, Board and Staff extend sincere appreciation and thanks to the following. Your donation made it possible for us to support individuals and families in our community during Covid- 19 in 2020 -2021.

Please note we are back to seeing clients face-to-face as well as continuing to offer telephone and online video counselling services to those who wish to do so.We are asking that all clients use hand sanitizer that is provided at the door upon entering the office, masks are also provided to clients. Masks must be worn at reception and when being escorted to the counselling room.

We ask that you come at your appointment time as we are not allowing clients to wait in the waiting room at this time. If you are sick, or have been in contact with someone who has been, please stay home and re-book your appointment.
